Marinating
Pad Thai Patties
Add ½ cup of VH Pad Thai Stir Fry Sauce and ¼ cup of breadcrumbs to your regular hamburger recipe for a tangy taste the whole family will love.
Saucy Grilling
When using VH Sauces for marinating beef, pork and chicken use ¾ of a bottle as the marinade. Use the remaining ¼ bottle to brush on the meat while grilling to keep it tasty and moist. And remember to discard any leftover sauce that has come in contact with raw meat.
Grilling
Prep With Pam
Flip your way to delicious grilled cooking by spraying PAM® Grilling on the cold grill, tongs, skewers and grill baskets. This will keep your flavourful meats, kabobs and veggies from sticking and your mouth-watering meal intact.
Rare, medium or well?
If you want to check the doneness of your meat simply poke your steak to check its firmness. If it's soft to the touch it's rare, if it gives slightly it's medium, and firm is well.
Perfect Grill Marks
To get that appetizing crisscross pattern on your steak, place it directly onto a hot grill for two minutes. Then give your steak a quarter turn. When it's time to flip the steak, repeat the process.
Keep 'Em Juicy
After grilling, let your steak sit for 5 minutes. The juices will redistribute throughout the meat, making it moist and flavourful.
Veg Out
Add an Asian twist to your grilled vegetables by marinating with VH General Tao Stir Fry Sauce or Asian 5 Spice Stir Fry Sauce in aluminum foil. Cook on the grill until tender and enjoy slices of zucchini, eggplant red pepper and onion like you never have before!
Rack Them Up
Use a grill rack to prevent vegetables and other similar small foods from falling through. To ensure easy cleanup after grilling, spray the grill rack with PAM® Grilling.
